As a B&A insurance and Solutions Specialist your will, be assigned and report to the West region territory to offer sales & service for personal and commercial insurance products placed through brokerage division.

You will maintain relationships with the internal and external partners to ensure insurance business is placed and service within the operation of brokerage business.

While this is primarily a home-based role, there may be times you would be expecting to come into our office for training and meetings working from one of the following locations : Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110.

Compensation is dependent on geography.

Madison : $60,000-$99,000

Boston : $68,000-$111,000

Primary Accountabilities

• You will work with agencies to ensure business is processed including managing incoming workflow, initiating policy changes and managing policy documentation.
• Proactively communicate across divisions to improve sales opportunities and mitigate adverse risk by placing business.
• Place business with brokerage partners by working with the field to understand the customers needs and determining acceptability of partner insurance coverage based on underwriting guidelines or rules that best meet the needs of the customer.
• Resolve questions and issues related to applications or policies issued by our vendors. *Initiates and maintains relationships with the field to promote brokerage and alliance sales.
• Promote sales by initiating contact with field management and agents to communicate product sales opportunities, sales strategies and product or procedure changes / enhancements.
• Maintain relationships with brokerage and alliance companies to maintain high customer service standards.

• Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect.

Licenses

Must have applicable insurance licenses as required to do business with American Family in the applicablestates that are supported or must obtain insurance licenses within 90 days of appointment.
