The Director, Product Management for Annuity products within the Wealth Management Solutions business unit will be responsible for the implementation of key growth initiatives and broker-dealer annuity product distribution including product strategy, research, and analysis, platform evaluation, agreement negotiation, carrier relationship management, advisor recruiting, industry knowledge, compliance with regulations, and advisor training and communications. Key Responsibilities Lead distribution of annuities with responsibility for P&L and overall performance of product line and daily operations Identify advisor and client needs, understand industry trends, and act as a thought leader to drive and/or support pivotal initiatives for growth including expansion of products, strategies and services Oversee advisor communications, training, and marketing and overall sales and service for brokered Annuity products Collaborate with recruiting to attract and aid in the transition of experienced advisor recruits and financial institutions Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements and manage carrier relationships Ensure sound due diligence processes and compliance with all regulations Provide effective leadership to direct reports incorporating performance management practices through individual performance plans, periodic reviews, coaching and development Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 10 years financial services experience, preferably in product development, management, and sales of annuities Demonstrated relationship management experience and success in influencing others cross organizationally as well as with third parties Excellent strategic and analytical skills to review facts, solve complex problems and identify new product solutions People leadership experience Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory environment Active Series 7 and Active Series 24 or the ability to obtain within 120 days About Our Company We’re a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration.
