American Battery Technology Company is Hiring a Production Associate 2nd Shift Near Plant, FL

OVERVIEW

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is an industry-leading battery metal and critical materials, technology development, and commercialization company. Our Pilot Plant in Fernley, Nevada will be the first integrated implementation of our multi-step processing train for the full mechanical processing, physical separations, chemical extractions, and production of commercial-scale battery metals that will be resold back into the battery manufacturing supply chain to enact a low-cost, low environmental impact, and domestically sourced closed-loop circular economy.

ABOUT THE JOB

This position supports production on the shop floor by operating and troubleshooting multiple pieces of ancillary equipment and machines. Production Associates assist in housekeeping and material transport as well. Associates monitor and respond to machine alarms engaging in basic troubleshooting and repairs. Associates perform quality checks as well and work in a fast-paced team environment. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. This shift also includes an 8% differential

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Prepare battery feedstock for daily production run.

·Supply product to the line as part of infeed process.

·Pack finished product into appropriate packaging and applicable pallet configuration.

·Check that finished product meets customer requirements.

·Complete physical tasks as directed, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, etc.

·Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

·Other duties as required and assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted

·Must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.

·Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must

·Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions for specialized equipment

·Escalate technical problems to the appropriate support groups and leaders

·Follow safety guidelines, manufacturing instructions

·Evaluate the assembly processes and equipment to look for continuous improvement opportunities

·Complete other duties as assigned/support cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

·Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.

·Ability to walk throughout the plant.

·Ability to bend at the waist.

·Ability to lift 50 lbs.

·Ability to wear PPE which includes but is not limited to the following: eye and face protection, hearing protection, respirators, and protective shoes and shoe coverings.

·Must have 20/20 or corrected vision.

·Ability to perform repetitive duties.

·Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals for extended periods of time.
