American Arbitration Association is Hiring a Case specialist Near Voorhees, NJ

Description

The American Arbitration Association (AAA) is seeking an Arbitration and Mediation Case Filing Specialist on a temporary / seasonal basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing data entry and administrative tasks related to the intake of arbitration and mediation cases.

The successful applicant will have the option to work on a fully remote or hybrid arrangement. Fully remote employees must work from their primary residence, which must be located within a commutable, 100 mile radius of the regular AAA worksite.

In this role you will work 25 hours per week, for a duration of 6 months.

Compensation : The hourly wage range for this temporary assignment is $19 - $25.

Responsibilities

  • Review new arbitration case filings to ensure compliance with minimum filing requirements and organizational policies.
  • Accurately input new case filings into case management system.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure filing documents are appropriately scanned and processed in the system.
  • Ensure confidentiality of case information and case records; adhere to the AAA’s information security and data privacy policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Select and create customer account / contact records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Receive and respond to intake correspondence in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and index case filing documents on an as-needed basis.
  • Identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively utilizing available information and system data, weigh the importance of various issues, and escalate unresolved / complex issues to supervisory staff.
  • Communicate AAA policies and procedures to parties appropriately; understand, interpret and evaluate specific case issues based on information.
  • Consult with immediate supervisor for guidance to ensure quality and consistent standards.
  • Demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable job attendance.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a business-related discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Legal Studies); 1-2 years of progressive administrative work experience in a client-centered corporate environment (e.

g., legal, financial, or consulting firms); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Able to read and interpret documents such as legal files, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and business correspondence;

ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers, arbitrators, mediators, or employees of the organization.
