Reports To: Vice President of Innovation
Pay Grade: 13

Overview
Assists in defining, implementing, and managing the Innovation Program framework, processes and tools. Responsible for tracking, alerting, and ensuring that key elements of the innovation program are achieved. Provides input, support, and project management; ensures prioritization and execution related to planning, ideation, coaching, and training of innovation teams and project participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee, develop and support a pipeline of innovation projects and initiatives that deliver substantial impact to priority areas.
  • Utilize independent judgment to develop and deliver innovation programs and trainings; facilitate brainstorming sessions, innovation team meetings, sprints, and workshops.
  • Evaluate and recommend ideas, processes or business model changes for consideration that improve or enhance business operation, client service, and other key areas.
  • Work with stakeholders to refine ideas and concepts; assist in articulating and advancing concepts to executives and leadership teams.
  • Build business models for prioritized and vetted ideas to assure thoughtful and realistic action plans.
  • Manage portfolio of innovation idea submissions; assist collection, development, research, analysis, and business case justification.
  • Act as innovation champion organization-wide to evaluate, develop, and implement ideas; track and report on outcomes and results.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to champion innovation; serve as internal resource regarding Innovation Program tools and processes.
  • Assist with internal marketing and adoption of innovative solutions across the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams; develop and conduct training plan; assign, direct and monitor project tasks.
  • Assist with preparing, monitoring, and tracking of Innovation Program budget.
  • Serve as liaison to external AAA-ICDR Innovation and Technology Advisory Panel(s).
  • Administer the Innovation SharePoint sites; post and manage content.
  • Demonstrate regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Attend on-site and in-person meetings and training sessions.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline; 3 years of innovation management, project management, program management, strategic planning or equivalent, using tools and frameworks to execute; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

  • Stakeholder Management: Able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, building relationships and gaining buy-in for innovation initiatives.
  • Continuous Learning: Committed to staying updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in innovation management.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint and Adobe.
  • Travel: Able to travel overnight 15% of the time for meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
