We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Data entry and filling of prescriptions.
• Pulling stock, pouring, counting, restocking, packaging, labeling and pricing the prescription.
• Provide quality customer service by greeting guests as they enter the pharmacy, keeping the pharmacy clean and answering the phone in a courteous manner.
• Assisting customers with OTC products and other pharmacy services.
• Assist in checking and removing out-of-date product as instructed by the pharmacist.
• Order, receive, rotate and store product to assure quality controls.
• Reconcile daily merchandise orders.
• Answer phones professionally and answer any customer questions ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance of federal HIPPA regulations.
• Maintain all product labels, signs and prices aligned with product.
• Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; report hazards to store management.
• Perform price checks for guests and team members, as needed.
• Operate the Point of Sale terminal and the credit card machine when checking our guests; collect proper payment for merchandise.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat and orderly in condition and appearance
• Earns and maintains state technician registration certification
• Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned under the direction of a pharmacist

Requirements:

Licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida

Spanish(Read, Written and Spoken) and/or Portuguese (Read, Written, and Spoken)

Duties of the Customer Service Department Include (through the supervision of the pharmacist only):

-Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese

-Initiate calls to doctor's offices and patients as needed to fill prescriptions

-Helping patient/ doctor's office inquiries via telephone calls.

-Data entry of prescriptions and charging orders. It requires learning our pharmacy system, learning to read compound medication prescriptions, selecting proper medication, units, and quantities.

-Team Environment. Required to help other staff as needed.

-Any other duties assigned by a pharmacist and/or supervisor.

Salaries will be discussed during the final interview.
