Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Program Management team for Orange County Public Schools located in Orlando, FL. This role will support multiple construction projects, coordinate with other Project Managers, designers, and end users to verify that projects will be completed successfully within the assigned time frame and budget.

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:

  • Projects involving multiple services provided by client; OR,

  • Other complexities, such as projects that involve mechanical and plumbing specific construction activities.

  • May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).

  • Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.

  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.

  • May provide project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement support.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS 2 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background checks.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Florida DOE regulations and experience in the implementation of Florida Statutes and State Requirements for Educational Facilities with regards to the planning, design and construction of higher education facilities.

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

  • This position does not include relocation benefits.

  • Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (Florida) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $71,000.00 - $129,000.00 .
