Job Description:

As a Commercial Solar Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our solar business by identifying and securing new commercial clients for solar installations. You will be responsible for generating leads, conducting consultations, and closing sales to help businesses transition to clean, renewable energy sources. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for sustainability, strong sales skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultations with prospective clients to understand their energy requirements and business objectives.
• Develop customized solar solutions tailored to meet the unique needs and budget of each commercial client.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to demonstrate the benefits of solar energy and our services.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the sales process and after installation, fostering long-term relationships.
• Stay current on industry trends, solar technology advancements, and government incentives to effectively communicate the value proposition of solar energy to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the solar industry or renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial solar systems, including photovoltaic technology, energy storage, and financing options.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and meet sales targets.
• Knowledge of local regulations, incentives, and policies related to solar energy (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
