Ambrose funds its developments through discretionary private equity funds. Ambrose has recently launched its fourth fund solely focused on industrial, logistics, and e-commerce real estate. Due to our extensive growth, we are expanding our capital markets team and the role will be located in our Indianapolis office. The Capital Markets Associate will support financial analysis and underwriting for Ambrose’s real estate projects and funds. This role will work closely with the capital markets and development teams to support Ambrose’s efforts in achieving perfect execution of speculative and build-to-suit industrial and logistics projects throughout the United States.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Financial Analysis

  • Perform financial analysis and valuations
  • Prepare transaction information for proformas, sensitivities, investor presentations and fund models
  • Analyze real estate and capital markets trends
  • Review and abstract documentation for complex real estate agreements to assist with the preparation of financial materials
  • Establish strong working relationships with the team and clients to understand and identify market intelligence need

Capital Markets

  •  Work with banks and lenders on project underwriting and due diligence related to construction and permanent debt
  • Build pitchbooks summarizing debt financing opportunities
  • Support due diligence efforts for property dispositions
  • Track and analyze feedback from investors and lenders

Investor Relations 

  • Support onboarding of new investors in the subscription process
  • Maintain investor CRMs and other database
  • Assist with the drafting of investor documentation (private placement memorandum, limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, and quarterly reports)

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Real Estate.
  • Two plus years of investment banking, lending or private equity experience. 
  • Proven experience working on complex and time sensitive situations. 
  • Must have a strong analytical background, excellent Excel skills and familiarity with underwriting.
  • Must have a high attention to detail and understands the importance of maintaining data quality. 
  • Familiarity with Juniper Square and/or Salesforce a plus. 
  • Possesses strong time management, client relationship, problem solving and leadership skills.
