  • Analyze and assessmanufacturing processes at company workstations - recommending essentialprocess improvements with lean practices to optimize workflow and increaseoverall efficiency - Uptime, Performance and Quality.
  • Create specifications for variouscomponents and assembly steps, determining production benchmarks, andoptimizing manufacturing efficiency, reliability through input.
  • Operate fully as independent“technology suppliers” providing the detailed specifications for plant andequipment.
  • Run sample requests provided byR&D to investigate, analyze, and develop innovative product solutions.
  • Develop, support, and improveworkstation design and layout to positively impact ergonomics, material flowand productivity.
  • Performs root cause analysisand conduct brainstorming sessions with responsible teams; investigate theprocess, machine, or equipment; implements counter measures/corrective andpreventive actions and training, to any internal or external, quality andsafety concerns.
  • Auditing manufacturingcells/lines on a weekly basis to ensure all production processes followstandard operating procedure laid out through Layered Process Audit.
  • Initiate and implement ProcessChange Requests (PCRs) to improve manufacturability and quality performance.
  • Participating in weekly safetyaudits to assess new or unidentified safety concerns and risks.
  • Participate in safety incidentinvestigations as required.
  • Responsible for implementingall process and equipment with state-of-the-art technologies to ensure allproducts are manufactured and assembled with highest quality to meet customerdemands.
  • Providing weekly project statusupdates to management, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Assists maintenance andoperations team with troubleshooting process and equipment related issues.
  • Mentor and guide lessexperienced team members in technical excellence, procedures, and bestpractices.
  • Alignment with cross-functionalproject team.
  • Initiating and implementingprocess improvements through innovative creative ideas.
  • Develops, maintains, andreviews concepts with suppliers and customers.
  • Monitors implementation ofcorrective action plans
  • Coordinates the efforts ofcross-functional groups and across shifts to resolve bottlenecks, partsshortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues and production capacity.

Requirements

  • 10 years of ManufacturingIndustrial Engineering in Automotive, Aerospace, or other related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IndustrialEngineering, Operations, or other related fields.
  • CAD experience required.
  • Strong analytical andconceptual skills and ability to communicate effectively with client customersat all organizational levels.
  • Strong oral and writtencommunication and documentation skills, including presentation skills (MSExcel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving andtroubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Experience leading small teamsor delivering projects or programs.
  • Experience prioritizing tasksand managing assignments in a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous Consulting ExperiencePreferred
