Ambassador Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in the Piedmont, SC area. The Maintenance Technician provides support through regular preventative and predictive maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, and responding to equipment failures in an effort to reduce down time, support production team members and meet the client's overall production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical skills with a basic knowledge of robots. Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair, and test automotive manufacturing equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Disassemble and replace defective equipment and parts including mechanical, pneumatic, electrical
• Troubleshoot and make modifications to maintain uptime and improve efficiency and reliability
• Use computerized or manual Maintenance Information Systems to track preventative and predictive maintenance
• Basic robotic and electrical circuit troubleshooting
• Optimize/Upgrade equipment based on safety, quality or production requirements
• May be required to rotate shifts

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Technology OR Trade School Certification.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of robotics, electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics
• Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
