Marketing Assistant II
This team oversees the World-Wide Events team. We are responsible for putting together Prime Day, Black Friday, The Prime Early Access Sale that happened last year. We work across the entire company, globally to work with stake holders from all of our different retail and program teams in order to successfully market and merchandize everything for the high velocity events (HVE).
Responsibilities/Duties include but aren't limited to:
• Build merchandising campaigns and execute traffic-driving efforts to support High Velocity Events across Amazon.
• Audit and raise the bar on partner team merchandising campaigns to ensure flawless campaign delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between Worldwide Events team and partner teams to guide marketing campaigns to completion
• Report on progress against goals and relevant metrics
• Assist with creative asset production (in partnership with a dedicated design team)
• Editing (XML, HTML) and publishing content to site via Campaign Management Systems
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years of experience creating and executing digital marketing campaigns, including onsite merchandising, on-device/mobile, and/or display
• Writing customer-facing copy that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the online customer
• Proficiency with Content Management Systems and ability to edit basic HTML and XML
• Must be comfortable with Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis. This includes familiarity with VLookups, Pivot tables, and other such functionalities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management
BA/BS required
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing large scale merchandising programs
• Experience with A/B or multivariate testing
• Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
• Proficiency with analytics tools and web traffic reporting
• Have relentlessly high standards and a high attention to detail.
• Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines
• Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action
• Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Location: Remote (USA mainland)
Contract length: 11 Month
Pay Range $28-$32 per hour
