Job Overview
The Account Manager position with Amatech is meant to be a full-service customer contact. As an Account Manager you will be your clients’ one point of contact for anything they need from developing a new project all the way through billing issues. We are here to make their project process as smooth as possible for them. Any person in this position should possess good computer skills, good phone skills, have the ability to work with others, and a desire to learn and expand their knowledge base.
The Account Manager position comes with the expectation of a 40-hour work week with a daily hour lunch break. You are expected to promptly reply to emails and phone calls while maintaining ongoing projects within those hours. You will be given a key to the office for any after-hours or weekend work you choose to do. Along with customer service, the Account Manager is also responsible for in-house duties including, but not limited to maintaining the ERP System, your CRM systems, developing forecast numbers for your customer list and participating in company meetings and events. You will be asked to actively participate in some company initiatives that will help our company’s long-term well-being.
Responsibilities of this position
Your normal activities will also include, but are not limited to:
Maintain current customer base and build new customers by contact calling, cold calling and/or internet hit follow up.
Customer communications by phone, video, or email for specific projects.- Project discovery, proposal follow-up, project mgt. meetings, etc.
Project concepts and designs with use of good math skills and the ability to conceptualize.
Project costing, estimating, and quoting along with the collaboration with Engineering and production to come up with best solutions for our customers.
Order entry for Prototypes, Concepts, and Production orders.
Production and Prototype approval processes
ERP/E2 and CRM/Spiro daily entry and procedures.
Meetings and Company events attendance
