PEER Support Case Mana
Location: Franklin County Rapid Resource Center
Pay: $20-21/hr
Career Details:
We are seeking a passionate Peer Support Case Manager to connect and build supportive, pro-social relationships with participants that result in a personalized pathway to recovery, post-incarceration. Assist participants with establishing new social networks that support a lifestyle in recovery. Meet with participants frequently to assure that the transition from incarceration to the community has multiple layers of support. Provide continuous support until the participant feels comfortable with his new positive, peer network. Exercise a healthy level of empathy, compassion and understanding with all recovery participants.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a recovery setting with diverse populations.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Certifications:
Must have valid Peer Support Certification (either complete or in process)
Skills and Abilities:
Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft office applications and skilled in operation of personal computer, peripheral equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printers).
