Position Overview:

The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for assisting the Program Manager in managing all aspects of the project to ensure all contract requirements are being met within our quality, timeliness, customer satisfaction, and performance standards, as well as, assist the Program Manager in the personnel and cost control aspect of the project to ensure the project is executed within the hours and ceiling constraints.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Assist with oversight of all TOs and communicate with PMs, Contracts, and CORs to ensure all TOs are progressing as planned and within budget, time, and quality expectations.
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor TOs to ensure resource allocation (manpower, hardware, and software) is being met to complete the contracted tasking requirements.
• Review SOWs from Contracts and provide proposed changes.
• Attend SOW meetings and review SOW meeting minutes.
• Review Contract and TO monthly deliverables.
• And all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of operational and financial oversight including understanding of contract administration.
• 5 years of direct government contracting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of government reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to brief senior managers and executive leadership on program status, issues, or concerns.

Required Experience

• 2 years of customer-faced experience.
• 2 years of experience with translating requirements and determining alternatives.
• 2 years of experience developing, reviewing, and refining processes and procedures.
• 2 years of experience tracking spending and monitoring budgets.
• In-depth knowledge of government reporting requirements.
• Highly skilled with MS Office suite.
