Altru Health System is Hiring a Safe Kids Community Resource Near East Grand Forks, MN

Location: Altru Clinic | East Grand Forks 607 DeMers Avenue East Grand Forks, MN 56721 Summary: The Safe Kids Community Resource provides community education using age appropriate resources and techniques. This position assures the program has the necessary tools and resources and maintains records. Essential Job Functions: Assures that the Safe Kids programs have the necessary training tools, resources, and volunteers. Provides input into the program’s inventory and budgeting needs. Assists with program grant writing and fundraising efforts. Remains current on childhood safety topics and injury prevention strategies. Provides training relevant to the community programs under their direction and prepares and presents Safe Kids meetings. Provides community education as requested using age appropriate resources and techniques. Completes all program and grant reporting requests from Safe Kids Worldwide in a timely manner. Attends Safe Kids meetings routinely. Maintains all required records of courses and community education provided including course rosters, evaluations, and quality improvement monitoring tools. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
