Description:
Caregivers will perform Homecare duties. These duties require personal care services necessary to meet the patient’s needs. The caregiver's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to…
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with patient’s laundry as needed
- Providing medication reminders
- Meeting safety needs of patients
- Reporting significant changes in the patient’s condition to their direct supervisor
- Preparing light meals and assisting in feeding patient if necessary
- Taking and recording patient’s temperature
- Assisting with ambulation
- Performing range of motion and other simple exercises
- Maintaining documentation and care procedures
- Adhering to privacy policies and infection control protocols
- Bathing assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Companion services, such as letter-writing and reading
Requirements:
- 18 years of age (or older)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Auto Insurance
- Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care provided
