Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commission-Based Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional hair styling and customer service skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and a strong desire to collaborate within a team-oriented environment. This position offers a commission-based compensation structure, providing ample room for growth and success.

Responsibilities:

Hair Styling: Execute a wide range of hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, to meet clients' unique preferences and specifications.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients, understanding their needs, and offering professional advice to achieve the desired results.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other stylists, salon staff, and management to create a positive and supportive team environment. Share knowledge, techniques, and ideas to foster a creative and cohesive workplace.

Build and Maintain Clientele: Develop and maintain a loyal client base through outstanding service, effective communication, and building strong client-stylist relationships.

Sales and Retail: Actively promote and sell salon products and retail items to enhance the overall client experience and contribute to personal and salon-wide revenue goals.

Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure the salon workspace is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations. Contribute to creating a welcoming and professional salon environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Cosmetology License: Must hold a valid state cosmetology license.

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Sales Ability: Adept at promoting and selling salon products and services.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.

Self-Motivated: Proactive and driven to achieve personal and salon-wide goals.
