General Summary

The New York office of Alston & Bird has an immediate opening for a senior associate or counsel with 5-10 years’ experience to join its growing Structured Finance & Warehouse Team. Significant experience in ABS, RMBS and/or esoteric securitizations is required. Capabilities in drafting complex transaction and disclosure documents, and managing multiple capital market transactions at once are also a requisite. 

Alston & Bird actively represents clients across a broad spectrum of asset classes, which will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to leverage his/her experience to work across various asset types. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions. The ideal candidate must also be able to serve as the lead and supporting associate on transactions, and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates will work closely with seasoned lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to grow professionally. The Structured Finance & Warehouse Team is part of Alston & Bird’s Finance Practice which is consistently recognized as a top law firm in banking and finance. Members of the Structured Finance & Warehouse Team are actively involved in the Structured Finance Association, including the Women in Securitization initiative.
