Integrity & Excellence Construction is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Orlando, FL

I&E Construction is a fast-growing GC specializing in large-scale construction defects and exterior envelope restoration. Currently we are looking for a Project Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Oversee the financial aspects of projects from bid/quote, contract to billing
  • Review various project quotes, prepare costs and invoice clients with accuracy
  • Reconcile projects to contracts
  • Facilitate and manage billing on multiple projects that have varying levels of attention needed
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of billing information
  • Process weekly and monthly contract billings
  • Compile required backup documentation for billings
  • Understand billing contract terms
  • Basic understanding of lien releases
  • Posting to the cash flow
  • Performing billing reconciliations
  • Post deposits
  • Maintaining electronic billing filing system
  • Monitor payments
  • Follow up on payment status for assigned jobs/customers
  • Monitor job status, ensuring all billings are prepared and submitted to the customer timely
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries and resolving issues

Requirements include:

  • 2-3 years of project accounting experiecne
  • High Proficiency in Word / Excel;
  • Data entry skills;
  • Work well under pressure;
  • Must have high-level reconciliation skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Sharp attention to detail;
  • Dependability / Reliability;
  • Extremely self-motived, proactive and capable of prioritizing workload;
  • Independently prioritize tasks; and
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with various departments and customers with a sense of competency and helpfulness.
