Integrity & Excellence Construction is Hiring a Project Administrator Near Orlando, FL

I & E Construction is a growing, family owned full service general contractor, currently looking for a Project Administrator.

POSITION SUMMARY

Project Administrator assists the Project Manager and Superintendent with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. Successful candidate must be able to promote teamwork, communication, leadership and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong communication, interpersonal, technical and leadership skills. Project Administrator is to provide document administration for all phases of the construction project(s) including, RFIs, Change Orders, Billing, Submittals, and Closeout Documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare project billing
  • Assist with project estimating as it relates to assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Help prepare project schedule.
  • Maintain project management files and logs in Procore and on the shared server
  • Effectively prioritize and manage the administrative workload – organize and manage Submittals, RFI s and Shop Drawings

  • Assist the Project Manager with subcontract negotiation and administration
  • Distribute approved submittals to pertinent subcontractors.
  • Obtain and check subcontractor’s pricing and assist in assembling change quotations as directed by the Lead Project Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining the project files, closeout and storage of documents at completion.
  • Assist in contract documents, including review of all drawings and specifications for design inconsistencies and conflicts.
  • Write field questions and expedite answers from Architect to allow the assigned components of the work to be fabricated and installed in the most efficient manner.
  • Assist in documenting changes and maintain project record drawings and specifications.
  • Correspond with owners, clients, consultants and subcontractors
  • Review Shop Drawings for coordination with trades and compliance with contract documents
  • Assemble close out documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
