Alpine Mechanical Services' self-performing HVAC maintenance programs serve retail chains and multi-site commercial properties in 13 states throughout the East Coast.

The Account Manager will work directly with existing accounts to ensure customer needs are met including the entry of service requests, updates, quotes, and approvals. This position is responsible to verify client records and pricing are accurate, while addressing client concerns and resolving any issues in a timely manner. Idea candidate will have experience in managing national business accounts in HVAC or related industries. Please note this is not a management position as you will not be managing others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via inbound calls and email.
  • Answer customer questions and provide proactive updates on accounts.
  • Enter client work orders and maintain them until closed.
  • Communicate customer billing/invoice adjustments.
  • Update portals.
  • Problem-solve any issues.
  • Coordinate between customer and dispatch.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with typing and computers.
  • Detail oriented with the capacity to multi-task.
  • Coachable and motivated to work hard.
  • Above average people and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
  • Strong customer service experience.

Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years of applicable work experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • Previous HVAC experience a plus.
  • National Account experience a plus

Alpine, a Helios company compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $21.00 hourly in our lowest geographic market up to $22.00 hourly in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios’s compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

*Position may be hybrid.
