Position: Field Service Technician

Overview:
Alpha Laser is seeking a proactive and dedicated Field Service Technician to enhance our customer service experience. This role is pivotal in ensuring service excellence that boosts customer satisfaction, fosters customer loyalty, and contributes to our profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be prepared to travel on short notice to meet customer needs.
• Deliver outstanding service and support during on-site visits or when dispatched.
• Handle all aspects of on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of industrial laser systems.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine effective solutions promptly.
• Generate comprehensive and timely service reports.
• Document operational processes accurately.
• Safely operate and handle equipment.
• Adhere to all company procedures and protocols while in the field.
• Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Understand customer needs and provide suitable recommendations or briefings.
• Cultivate positive relationships with customers to enhance service satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in field service roles.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to changing schedules.
• Proficiency in office software (MS Word, Excel, Web Applications).
• A technical degree or certification in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Competency in managing extended service calls without frustration or compromise on quality.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including the capacity to solve problems based on non-technical descriptions from customers.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
