Our building was designed by world-renown architect I.M. Pei — there's plenty of natural light, open space with a co-working vibe, an in-building gym, calming yoga and meditation studio and an indoor tree spanning 3 floors.

OVERVIEW

Working collaboratively with the VP and Director of IT Operations, other IT project managers, and project managers across the Bella Canvas and Alo Yoga companies, this position will help the Operations and Technical group further develop the best possible processes that are easy to follow, continuously evolving, and results-driven. The ideal candidate will have an IT Operations, Cybersecurity, facilities, and construction project leadership background. They should be well versed in our company's project methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile. The project manager will help facilitate the rollout of new tools and teach others at all levels about competent project management.

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven problem-solver with a sharp technical mind and the proven ability to enroll continuously in cross-functional areas to improve project management and delivery. The selected candidate will be expected to help the organization understand, document, implement and further develop a project management structure. He or she will improve existing systems to make it easier to manage and deliver results with a successful documented close to every project. They will be expected to combine their technology and project management knowledge to provide state-of-the-art solutions to improve efficiency through continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate well-defined project scopes by gathering and validating project requirements from department heads and stakeholders
  • Lead the development of roadmaps and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance IT capabilities in alignment with the organization and company's growth objectives
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, including all phases from initiation to closure, while ensuring comprehensive documentation is created and maintained
  • Delegate project tasks to team members at all levels, ensuring appropriate workload distribution and accountability
  • Track project performance and provide reports to stakeholders as needed
  • Identify cross-functional dependencies, and anticipate, minimize, and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across a broad portfolio
  • Manage and optimize technical team workflows, ensuring efficient task assignment and tracking
  • Guide users on how to effectively follow project management practices, explaining the benefits, methodology, and other relevant information
  • Lead project meetings, fostering effective communication and collaboration among technical teams and stakeholder
  • Provide support to the broader technical and digital department by assisting with project and task management as needed
  • Perform regular post-mortem evaluations on projects and processes and proactively implement changes based on the discoveries
  • Some common topics that the project manager will encounter regularly:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4 years of project management experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Understanding of Networks, Servers, SaaS (Software as a Service), and Cloud systems
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Asana, Jira, and MS Project
  • PMP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal, online and in person
  • Maintains a high degree of functional business knowledge and current automated technologies and tools– always be learning
  • Six Sigma is a plus
  • Experience with warehouses, manufacturing, construction & facilities is a plus
  • Apparel, manufacturing, retail, and e-Commerce experience a plus

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-$145,000 per year, representing the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
