Role Description/Summary

This is a full-time role for a Sr Business Affairs & Talent Manager at Alma. You will partner with and foster strong relationships across the agency teams specifically the Production department, and will seamlessly join our naturally curious and collaborative work environment. This includes contract negotiation, talent sourcing, talent management, and ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards. Knowledge of SAG/AFTRA & AFM guidelines for all Commercials and negotiates licensed music.

The role is Hybrid located in Miami, FL.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience in talent sourcing and management
• Knowledge of legal and industry standards
• Works collaboratively with all agency disciplines including: Producers, Account Services, Creative and Finance
• Creates and issues appropriate production documents including Production Contracts and submitting insurance
• Manages approved estimate process: issues purchase orders, processes invoices, actualize projects and handles contracts/agreements
• Assist Producers with preparing contracts, advising on any legal concerns, Union, and Non-Union talent-related issues
• Estimates and pays talent sessions, holding fees, usage and renegotiations in compliance with SAG/AFTRA & AFM guidelines for all Commercials and negotiates licensed music.
• Handles re-negotiation for talent and music
• Participates in project scoping discussions, providing Producers and Client teams with accurate estimates for talent session fees, usage, residuals, and all other talent and music related costs for production
• Creates AD ID/ISCI Codes for commercials

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience in talent sourcing and management
• Knowledge of legal and industry standards
• Extensive knowledge of SAG union contracts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates experience in Broadcast Business Affairs within an Advertising agency.
• A self-starter, responsible, highly organized individual who learns quickly and has the ability to multi-task
• Professional, with the ability to work independently and communicates well with others
• High degree of accuracy, attention-to-detail and ability to follow-up effectively and work well under pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Experience in the advertising or creative industry is a plus
• Ability to work independently and remotely (Hybrid)
