Alma is Hiring a Remote Brand Designer

Brand Designer

Alma is looking for an experienced Brand Designer to join our growing creative team. 

In this role, you will be contributing to the building of our brand and mission to life visually. As Alma’s in-house brand designer, you’ll work cross-functionally to conceptualize and produce creative assets for stakeholders across the marketing department. This role reports to our Design Lead and will partner in building out the Alma brand’s visual identity.

This candidate is a designer who is interested in the mental health care space. They are passionate about inclusivity and accessibility and how that translates into a visual language. This person is comfortable conceptualizing and following through on creative ideas that support both of Alma’s primary audiences — providers looking to grow a thriving private practice and people seeking high-quality, affordable care.
What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop creative designs for various marketing channels including paid social, social media, and email marketing.
  • Create designs for internal and external business needs, including sales materials, presentation designs, and trade-show collateral.
  • Partner with copywriters to produce impactful and engaging visual designs for educational resources.
  • Design on-brand materials for marketing campaigns and brand partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders and creatives from concept to final deliverables.
  • Partner with Product Design to build and ensure visual coherence across the organization.
  • Assist with directing photographers, animators, illustrators, and other creative partners as needed on projects to drive larger brand vision and campaign goals.
  • Pitch creative ideas to creative leadership and work collaboratively to bring them to life.
  • Partner with the Design Lead on the growth and continued evolution of Alma’s visual identity.

Who You Are: 

  • You have 2 years of working experience as a designer, specifically in marketing.
  • You have a strong portfolio of work or references that demonstrate your knowledge of brand and marketing design.
  • You have knowledge of the latest design and digital/social media trends.
  • You are able to listen, digest, and resolve creative feedback. You know when to advocate for design decisions and when to compromise.
  • You have experience using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Working knowledge of Figma is a plus. 
  • You may have working knowledge of Google Docs for presentations.
  • You may have animation/motion design or photography editing experience.
  • You are passionate about Alma’s mission to simplify access to high-quality, affordable mental health care.

Salary Band: $75,000 - $100,000
