GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to work with Account Manager and Customer Account Representative, Billing Coordinator, along with customers, railroads (RRs) and contract railcar maintenance shops to improve customer’s fleet utilization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initial shop selection
• Review Customer Railcars, Product Service, loading points to help determine and establish dedicated shop network. Work with Customer Account Representative for AllTranstek system set up and establish business rules.
• Ensure shop network has been audited and approved by AllTranstek and Customer.
• Ensure work being performed is by facilities that have been authorized by the Customer, and audited by AllTranstek if necessary.
• Assist Customer Account Representative with AllTranstek system set up and understanding of dedicated shop network.
• Receipt of all estimates (includes questions, exceptions, guidance, and documentation of savings, approval, and assistance with appropriate ownership coding (lessor, owner, lessee, warranty).
• Receipt, review for accuracy and acceptance of all mandatory test documents.
• Receipt of invoice, ensure proper coding (lessor, owner, lessee, warranty) and import into AllTranstek systems.
• Order Material on behalf of Customer (if covered in AllTranstek contractual obligation).
• Daily communication with Account Manager, Customer Account Representative and Customers regarding shop performance and new developments.
• Determination of OTMA requirements/needs, ensure filing, distribution to all appropriate parties.
• Oversee all OTMA events.
• Work with Customer Account Representative to ensure proper initial shop set up (appropriate maintenance programs included).
• Organize and participate in weekly calls with shops/lessors to ensure timely cycle time while at shop.
• Must have good understanding of Billing Coordinator and be able to perform Customer Service Account Representative roles for back up.
• Other duties as assigned.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College degree or equivalent work experience in the Rail industry or related field
• 4 years’ experience in railcar maintenance planning or fleet management
• Some industry knowledge of AAR and FRA rules, and Tank Regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of customer organization
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills & ability to multitask
• Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, & Fleet Management Software

• 24 hour, 7 day a week availability
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
