Position Overview The Truck / Fleet Shop Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the day to day service, maintenance and upkeep of the fleet equipment locations.

The Shop Supervisor will manage assignments for fleet mechanics, fuelers and utility employees and / or third-party resources.

This individual will oversee all repairs of fleet equipment. Job Description Job Description Essential Functions of the Job : Supervise the daily maintenance and repair needs for fleet equipment Oversee on-site third party repairs coordinate repairs, inspect work performed, ensure safety expectations are met, etc.

Review and plan for day to day fleet equipment needs Upkeep of fleet equipment and maintenance Control expenses for parts, labor, outside labors and tires for fleet and warehouse facilities Responsible for job assignments, productivity expectations and measurement, disciplinary actions, and training of employees and / or oversight of similar professional standards for third-parties Maintain a safe work environment;

ensure that all safety and industry regulations are adhered to. Knowledge of an automated Fleet Management Information System and MS Office.

Work within OSHA standards Responsible for maintaining a 7-day work schedule for all shifts and / or managing third-party maintenance schedules to accommodate business needs All other duties as assigned Performance Measurements Yearly performance appraisals will include, but are not limited to the review of the following areas.

Other areas may be included / added as business needs warrant.
