Within Allspring, the Institutional Client and Consultant Relations Group (ICG/CR) delivers holistic investment solutions and thought leadership to pension plans, Defined Contribution plans, endowments and foundations, Insurance companies and the Consultants who advise them. Within this broader team, the Institutional Client Group (ICG) is responsible for understanding the needs of each institutional client and prospect to develop and provide best in class insights and investment solutions, utilizing the vast array of capabilities offered across Allspring.
We have an opening for an Institutional Client Service Associate with our ICG Northeast Region. The Institutional Client Associate is responsible for planning and support of Institutional clients in client services, retention, and new sales activities related to large and complex institutional clients and consultants, with a focus on corporations, endowments, foundations, and other institutional clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and provision of portfolio performance reports.
• Develop and analyze complex client reports and commentaries and prepare portfolio review material.
• Lead completion of client and consultant questionnaires.
• Develop presentations, prepare marketing and service materials, and assess compliance implications for use in client meetings.
• Participate in various projects including identifying resources, establishing timeframe, and managing to milestones.
• Resolve complex operational, systems-related and/or issues for internal and external clients.
• May liaise and act as main point of contact with certain investment teams on client meeting materials and reports.
• Has a broad and deep understanding of client/prospect/consultant needs and may consult with a small number of relationships around investment strategy, performance, new solutions, and market developments.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and procedures providing for more efficient and timely execution of team tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of institutional quality sales support, equivalent relationship management support, or a combination of both.

• Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong project management skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of CRM projects, tools, and systems.
• Strong project management and presentation skills.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of investment products and services.
• A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics.
