Summary: 

The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources team and provides critical support to staff throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is excited to work within a dynamic business solving challenging problems.

Pay: $65,835 - $77,729/yr. based upon relevant years of experience

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location: This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support a specific business unit with proactive onboarding, employee relations, terminations and everything in between.
  • Serve in a backup capacity for employee relations, training and development, safety, and recruiting.
  • Assist with the implementation of new HR programs and initiatives, as directed by HR leadership.
  • Analyze learning and development program usage and create monthly analytics.
  • Lead the development, initiation, and changes of job descriptions/analysis and organization structure in conjunction with the appropriate management.
  • Assign appropriate pay grades to initial and revised positions.
  • Determine compensation for new hires and internal changes.
  • Create merit, bonus, and incentive letters.
  • Research continuing state changes (example: medical and family leaves).
  • Devise and communicate methods to celebrate employee success.
  • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years’ HR experience in lieu of degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience in HR supporting multiple disciplines within the HR arena
  • Must have experience determining roles FSLA status
  • Proficiency in Microsoft application
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

  • SHRM-CP
  • PHR
  • Experience with labor laws and regulations in Colorado
  • Experience with labor laws outside Colorado
  • Worked as a HR Generalist
