ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT – West Allis

Allied Resource Recovery Inc. is a locally owned and operated recycling business located in West Allis and Waukesha, WI. that has been in business since 1938. Our 2 collection locations provide the public with multiple sites to recycle metals in friendly, safe, and quick service environment.

Are you looking to work in accounts payable and receivables in a small office environment? We are in need of an additional team member who has an accounting background and enjoys variety in their work.

To be successful in this role you will need:

· Previous experience in AP, AR, account reconciliation and invoicing.

· Strong attention to detail to review shipping and receiving receipts to match with paperwork to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

· Spreadsheet and accounting software experience – QuickBooks is a plus.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize your activities.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will need to interface with internal and external contacts to address identified concerns.

· A customer service and teamwork orientation to work effectively with others. Assist with answering phone calls and greeting customers who are making payments.
