Allied Resource Recovery is a locally owned and operated recycler that has been in business since 1938. Our 2 retail metal collection locations provide the public with multiple opportunities to recycle in friendly, safe, and quick service environments.

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED SCALE BUYER to join our Waukesha team in the purchasing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from the public. YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST SOME SCALE BUYING EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE OF METALS with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork to perform successfully in this role.

Position Responsibilities:

· Offer exceptional customer service to every one of our recycling customers.

· Inspect, grade, weigh, sort, and process metal materials for recycling.

· Input and record transaction data in our computerized scale system.

· Operate sit-down propane forklift to locate and organize purchased materials. We will train you if you possess the necessary metals knowledge.

· Maintain organization, equipment, and cleanliness throughout the property.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
