- Recommend short term solutions to material and capacity problems.
- Works primarily in the Frozen zone (immediate WIP)
- Responsible for the integrity of the Production Schedule and prioritization of the daily Build Plan.
- Responsible for delivery of build plan to Production Supervisor.
- Coordinate available material, tooling and supplies to support build plan.
- Works to resolve variability associated with daily build plan.
- Facilitates issues that impede meeting build plan.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of shop
- Capacity constraints
- Manpower requirements
- General manufacturing processes
- Priorities
- Participate with Team in the review and mitigation of potential out of balance conditions between Demand and Supply.
- Recommend short term solutions to material and capacity problems.

- Maintain proper capacity information in ERP System(Calendar/Crew Size)
- Participate in the review and mitigation of potential out of balance conditions between Demand and Supply
- Supplies required reports and graphs at management discretion.
- Maintain strong interface with Director of Op’s
- Establish ‘Drum Beat’ for operations
- Work with all disciplines for coordination of WIP cross flow
- Provide hard priorities for WIP alignment
- Supports PC process
- Determines proper release quantity and ensure jobs released meet scheduled demand
- Tracks and works issues associated with Planned and Firm Jobs
- Assist to resolve jobs that are held due to materials, tooling, etc.
