SUMMARYActs as an agent of broker assigned accounts, including servicing and/or solicitation activities. Manages book of business and directs the work of a service team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Manages overall client relationship to maintain high account retention rate.• Solicits new accounts to conduct direct selling and cold calling.• Facilitates flow of information from agents and underwriters, whether to internal teams and/or clients.• Responds promptly to all requests from internal team, (re)insurers or clients regarding account servicing issues. • Interacts regularly with brokers, clients, and underwriters regarding certificates; responding to queries and concerns with a prompt resolution.• Provides accurate coverages and liabilities explanations to agents and/or clients.• Provides and/or assists with quotations and binders for new business, renewals and endorsements.• Proactively initiates and coordinates renewal activity on assigned accounts.• Meets with clients as needed or directed by producer.• Reviews accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies and contacts client on receivable collections.• Serves as technical expert, assisting department members to resolve complex issues.• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).• Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceEight (8) or more years related work experienceValid insurance licenseMust continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal SKILLSExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood problem solving and time management skillsAbility to work within a team and to foster teamwork Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite #LI-KG1
