Project Manager/Engineer (Construction and Design)
 PROJECT DESCRIPTION/JOB DESCRIPTIONJr. Project Engineer to assist Project Manager and GFD Project Management team with the design, construction, and commissioning scope of 210,000 sqft device assembly and package facility on a day-to-day basis. The Jr. Project Engineer will assist with coordination of the fit-out Facility with touch points of the adjacent operating facilities.

• Position will be required to be on-site a minimum of 4 days per week

 POSITION BRAND DESCRIPTIONThe Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) Organization, part of Corporate Engineering and Continuous Improvement, delivers new and renovated capital assets around the world. Our mission is accomplished through a highly leveraged organization of design, construction, and qualification personnel. Many of the assets delivered focus on medical innovation and delivering innovative solutions to patients. Some of the assets delivered will support an expansion in the supply of existing medicines.KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLESJr. Project Engineer: Assist the Project Manager and GFD PM in the management of large capital projects consisting of professionals to safely achieve project objectives focused on design and construction through operational qualification. Project objectives are defined as: asset capability or capacity, cost, schedule and compliance. 
Compliance: Assist Project Manager with a disciplined, structured approach to project controls based on compliance with GFD and Company Policies and Procedures. 
Safety/Environment: Assist Project Manager in Maintaining safety and environmental execution plans for projects. Assist Project Manager in ensuring compliance to safety and environmental policies, procedures, and work rules for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors from conceptual design through operational qualification.
Interface/Communication: Assist Project Manager in developing and maintaining effective communication with project team, business partners and other stakeholders as the size of the project may dictate.
 Project Size and Included Areas

• Project Size/length: 210, 000 SF, multi-million dollars, anticipated 2.5-3 years
• Experience will include many of the following areas: Automation, construction, construction quality, project controls, the engineering disciplines, safety, scheduling.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Science – field related to design and construction, or equivalent experience.
