Alliance Counseling Associates is Hiring a Support Services Team Leader Near Bowling Green, KY

The Support Services Team Leader is a vital member of the Alliance Counseling team, responsible for elevating the presence of TCM (Targeted Case Management) and CCSS (Comprehensive Community Support) services across our office locations. This individual is tasked with offering support and training to the TCM and CCSS staff, managing a direct caseload of therapy clients, and ensuring adherence to regulations. Additionally, they will lead hiring and training initiatives and drive community outreach and information about our offerings. The role also involves representing Alliance Counseling at community events and collaborating closely with the Director of Support Services on various administrative tasks. The aim is for this role to become a full-time salaried position after additional referrals and support staff are added to the team.

Description

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Attend the required TCM and CSA training set forth by the state of Kentucky within 6 months of hire if this was not previously completed.
  • Maintain a caseload of delivering 18 clinical hours per week (paid at your Clinical Rate).
  • Know and fully understand the KAR’s for TCM and CCSS.
  • Implement and continue to update the training manual for TCM and CCSS services. Assist staff constantly with creative ideas and interventions for service delivery.
  • Assist staff members in understanding how to be the best TCM or CSA possible and help with creating resource manuals, resource ideas, etc. Creating the culture of amazing client-care comes top-down and your efforts and enthusiasm are critical.
  • Assist in making sure the morale in the office and within the company is positive and aligns with Alliance’s Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Review referrals for TCM and CCSS appropriateness, get them onboarded for services to start and get clients assigned to staff. The onboarding process will include creating the initial service plan for services to begin.
  • Hire and train new TCM and CCSS providers. Assist in creating a 90-day training program for each position and then maintain/update that as needed.
  • Set up each new provider with Kentucky required training for their position upon hire.
  • Stay up to date and track all ongoing required CEU’s for each provider; ensuring they get uploaded into the state system as well as get to HR for Alliance’s records.
  • Help support therapists, TCM’s and CSA’s in working together as a team.
  • Provide content for posting TCM and CCSS focused information, updates, etc. for Alliance’s social media pages 1x per week. This gets given to the HR director.
  • Attend all meetings as required.
  • Provide community outreach to inform community members/partners about our support services, seek out additional referral sources, represent Alliance at events, etc.
  • Meet quarterly and annual goals for increasing services and hiring providers as that increases.

Qualifications and Skills
:
  • Have an active and unencumbered LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCSW or CSW license in Kentucky.
  • Align with Alliance Counseling Associates mission, vision, and values.
  • Having previous experience either as a TCM or CSA is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor is preferred.
  • Be outgoing, friendly, easily connect with others and have a solid sense of empathy, compassion and passion for client-centered care.
  • Have the skills and desire to be both client-facing and team-building in your role; someone who likes a mixture of both is the ideal team player for this position.
  • Be able to learn and operate our EHR, and other technology proficiently.
  • Be able to lead through example and support staff consistently. Creating an atmosphere of positivity and encouragement is part of our core values.
  • Must be punctual in reporting to work.
  • Be highly organized and detail oriented in order to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Be a team player, work well with both administrative and clinical staff and have a passion for helping others.
  • Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills for both client-facing needs and service/program building responsibilities.

Benefits (earned after 90 days):
  • Hourly position up to 12 hours per week (salary option will be explored once this becomes a role that requires more than 12 hours each week due to the addition of referrals and new staff members)
