Job Description

• Assist our Director of Finance and the processing of Medicare and commercial insurance billing
• Audit patient charts ensuring they follow Medicare and Commercial Insurance guidelines
•  Prepare and submit insurance claims in a timely manner
• Investigate and resolve any insurance company issues
• Attends in accordance with the company's in-service training required by local, state and federal regulations. 

Qualifications

• Home Health Billing Experience Preferred
• Medical Billing Experience is a Must
• Multi-task, trouble-shooting and organizational skills. 
• Possess the ability to think and work independently, collaborate with other team members
• Be kind and flexible, self-motivated
• Have a great work ethic and knack for following through and prioritizing. 

Required Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year Medicare/Medicaid managed care and/or commercial payer experience preferred
• Medical Billing experience preferred
• Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

This is not a Remote or Hybrid position. It is a Full-Time In-Office position. Please do not apply unless you have at least 2 years of medical billing experience.
