Job Description

We have IMMEDIATE openings for 4-hour shifts at 3 beautiful facilities and Private Homes in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. There are possibilities of having more than one 4-hour shift.

We are a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency looking for CNAs and HHAs with home health experience to provide services for our patients in their homes. If you have a positive attitude, a genuine love of caring for the elderly, and experience in home healthcare, come join our team of professional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs). We only hire the best!

You must possess a valid CNA license or HHA certificate, current certification in CPR, and some experience working in home health. In addition, you must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance and must provide proof of the required health/background checks and training. Our Aides are paid per-diem and are actual employees of our company, not independent contractors. We carry workers’ compensation and liability insurance for their protection, and we withhold taxes, which we send to the IRS.

Responsibilities

• Provides caring companionship and conversation
• Provides transportation as needed (errands, appointments, etc.)
• Helps plan and prepare meals and ensures dishes and kitchen are clean
• Helps provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
• Helps client with all personal care functions as needed
• Observes and reports any changes in the client’s mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation to immediate supervisor
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• COMPASSION for the elderly and a genuine desire to care for them
• Current CNA license or HHA certificate
• Experience in home healthcare required
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance
• Current CPR card
• Level 2 background check required
• Health statement from the last 6 months
• PPD or chest x-ray results within the last year
• Certificate from an Alzheimer’s 2-hour course
• Certificate from an HIV/AIDS 4-hour course
• Certificate from an Assistance with Self-Administration of Medicine course
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
