As a Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology, you will provide compassionate care to our patients every day. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. You will be responsible for:

• Effectively managing the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population
• Delivering patient care utilizing standardized evidenced-based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment
• Communicating, collaborating, and functioning with other members of the health team to provide optimum care
• Reviewing, evaluating, and taking appropriate action regarding results of diagnostic tests.
• Administering medications and chemotherapeutic drugs according to policy.
• Performing and documenting a nursing assessments to identify and prioritize physical, psychosocial and cultural needs to develop a plan of care.
• Evaluating and reassessing nursing interventions based on interdisciplinary plan of care and making revisions as appropriate.
• Developing and implementing an education plan in collaboration with patient and family.
