We are looking for a full-time Houseman available weekdays, weekends and holidays to join our team. This position is 35 hours a week. We are a property management company that specializes in upscale, privately owned condominium rentals. We manage units at a twelve story high-rise in Pacific Beach. These are one and two bedroom condos, which range in square footage from 850 to 1150 sq. ft.

Weekend availability is required for this position.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Wash walls, move furniture, and turn mattresses.
• Wash windows and screens.
• Cleaning balcony windows.
• Collect soiled linen for laundering.
• Maintain housekeeping carts.
• Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies in linen rooms.
• Help maids with the heavy lifting when deep cleaning / spring cleaning of rooms.
• Assist housekeepers with placing air beds, roll-ways beds, extra bed etc.
• Report missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors.
• Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
• Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to bend, lift and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Cellphone required. Company will provide cellphone monthly reimbursement.

Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in hospitality.
