Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as typing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and tidy at all times
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix is a plus
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
This position offers competitive pay based on experience.
