Our services include skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and home health aide. Job DescriptionThe Home Health Aide...Works 10-25 hours/week, primarily weekday mornings, 8am-12pmVisits multiple patients, multiple times a week, for 30-45 minutes per visit, to assist with activities of daily living including bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing and grooming.Documents all activitiesTakes vital signs and documents results Notifies the Supervising RN if intervention is neededFollows all agency policies and procedures, including patient privacy and infection controlRepresents the agency with professionalism Specific activities and visit frequency is set by the patient's Home Health Aide Plan of Care. The Supervising RN conducts a joint visit with the Home Health Aide every 14 days. QualificationsREQUIRED: Virginia license to practice as a CNAREQUIRED: Current CPR certification OR proof you are registered to take a course within the next 30 daysREQUIRED: NO Criminal Background REQUIRED: Must hold a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and an automobile for field use. Must have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes. Must love helping people.
