In this role, you will act as an Agile Product Owner and Scrum Master, driving the prioritization and planning of product releases while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Your responsibilities encompass understanding healthcare industry regulations, workflows, and challenges, and translating them into effective technical requirements. Collaborating with various stakeholders including healthcare professionals, IT teams, and regulatory bodies, you ensure that technology solutions align with healthcare standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
• Engage with healthcare professionals, administrators, and regulatory experts to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
• Document detailed requirements, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry standards.
• Technical Solution:
• Work with the development team to ensure the technical solutions comply with healthcare industry standard and best practices.
• Project Management and Implementation:
• Serve as Agile Product Owner and Scrum Master, managing and prioritizing the release backlog to align with strategic business goals.
• Assist in project/release planning, status, stakeholder alignment and communication.
• Facilitate regular sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups in accordance with Agile methodologies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and healthcare professionals to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from healthcare stakeholders for iterative improvements.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvement, and innovation in healthcare delivery.
• Collaborate with the development team, healthcare providers and technology vendors to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into healthcare workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in the healthcare industry.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare workflows, regulations, and standards.
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific technologies such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), and Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex healthcare data and requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and regulatory bodies.
• Minimum of 4 years serving as an Agile Product Owner and Scrum Master, with a strong track record of leading Agile teams in healthcare IT projects.
• Project management experience, including planning, execution, and risk management in healthcare IT projects.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, HITECH, and FDA requirements.
• Experience working with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
• Certification in Healthcare IT (e.g., CHDA, CPHIMS) or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare data analytics tools and techniques.
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS) and security considerations in healthcare cloud environments.
• Experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Background in healthcare administration, clinical informatics, or healthcare consulting.
