Aligned Dental Support is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Richmond, TX

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric/Ortho Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. As a lead Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist and dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the dental office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and patient care.

```Responsibilities```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain inventory and ordering of dental supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using dental software (CAD, Epic, etc.)
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

```Requirements```
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Pediatric Dental Assistant
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-Ray certification
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with dental software systems (CAD, Epic, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dental receptionist experience is a plus
