ALIGN PRECISION is Hiring an Accounts Payable Near Huntingdon, PA

Summary:
• Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed for the purchasing and payment of goods and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Review and verify vendor invoices and check requests
• Sort, code, and match invoices
• Set invoices up for payment
• Enter and upload invoices into system
• Track expenses and process expense reports
• Prepare and perform check runs
• Post transactions to journal, ledgers and other records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions between general ledger and AP sub-ledger
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquires
• Produce monthly reports
• Assist with month end closing
• Provide supporting documentation for audit

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
• Knowledge of accounts payable
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Proficient in data entry and management
• 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Language Skills:
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, etc.:
• Basic understanding of general accounting principles
• Working knowledge of general office procedures, filing systems, data entry techniques and business equipment
• Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective at fostering strong relationships with multiple levels of business personnel
