As a Driver at Ali's Towing Inc., you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for safely operating towing vehicles to provide roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, and transportation services. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Roadside Assistance:

• Respond promptly to service calls for vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or other roadside emergencies.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles to designated locations, following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide assistance such as jump-starts, tire changes, and lockout services to stranded motorists.

Vehicle Recovery and Transport:

• Operate towing vehicles to recover vehicles from accident scenes, impound lots, or unauthorized parking areas.
• Secure vehicles onto tow trucks using appropriate towing equipment and techniques.
• Transport vehicles to designated destinations, ensuring safe and secure handling throughout the journey.

Customer Service:

• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, providing assistance and reassurance during stressful situations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate service calls and update job statuses.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure overall satisfaction with our services.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspections:

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of towing vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel for timely repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of towing vehicles, both inside and out.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in towing, recovery, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of towing equipment and techniques.
• Ability to operate towing vehicles safely in various weather and road conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.45 - $24.42 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
