Here's what you'd do:

• Provide the engineering to develop the construction documents for the installation, interconnection, and control of electrical, architectural, and mechanical components.
• Manage or lead a project team.
• Review or establish project scope, electrical budget, design approach, and applicable constraints with the Project Manager or client as appropriate.
• Prepare feasibility studies and schematic design packages of lighting, power systems.
• Review permit/construction documents for submittal to authorities having jurisdiction.
• Communicate and work with all other disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.
• Edit or draft project specifications.
• Develop and mentor less experienced staff.
• Develop accurate project cost estimates.
• Conduct field measuring and checking at the construction site.
• Maintain organized project files containing project calculations, correspondence, and appropriate reference materials.
• Review project submittals (shop drawings) for conformance with contract documents.
• Specify action necessary for conformance.
• Respond to RFIs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in power distribution/lighting design.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience with short-circuit analysis and coordination (ETAP or equal).

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experiences with semiconductors, display FAB, and related facilities.
• Professional Registration.
• LEED certification.
• Able to design and engineer lighting, power systems, and low voltage for new construction or renovation of industrial and commercial structures in conformance with client requirements, standards, and applicable codes.
• Possess the engineering knowledge and understanding to design and analyze electrical systems for the installation, interconnection, and control of electrical, architectural, and mechanical components using applicable codes and standards, including lighting & power distribution systems, low voltage systems (fire alarm systems, telecommunications/data networks, lighting control systems, power monitoring systems), sizing of equipment.
• Possess complete understanding, application, and interpretation of the NEC and the other NFPA codes and standards.
• Able to adhere to project quality, budget, and schedule.
• Possess the graphic ability to produce construction documents per company standards.
• Knowledge and application skills for the design of the facility's power and lighting systems and design team leadership.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Proficiency in AGi32, ETAP or equal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail.
