Assistant Estimator

What we are looking for:

Your role at Aldridge will support some of the largest and most technically challenging infrastructure projects in the nation! Our Assistant Estimator will perform tasks related to the bidding process.

What you’ll do:

Perform essential project and divisional duties including:

  • Preparing bid documents, including procurement of all necessary bonds, insurance and any other required paperwork.
  • Reporting relevant estimating information to Division Managers and others as required.
  • Coordinating bid lists with assigned VP/Division Managers.
  • Researching upcoming projects for prospective bidding.
  • Working in a team environment with estimators, project managers, and executives to complete bids.
  • Verifying plans and specs as needed.
  • Reading and reviewing bid documents and alert of clauses/requirements.
  • Preparing and submitting pre-qualifications packages. Maintaining and complete accurate information about bid status and bid results.

Who you are:

We are pursuing experienced professionals with the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of administration experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Construction and estimating experience is a plus.
  • Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products & various construction related software.
