Director of Treasury

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is looking for a Director of Treasury to manage the cash management function to include cash flow projections and budgets, cash management strategies, analyzing and improving accounts receivable management and collection performance, cash reporting, and coordinating credit / borrowing as may be required.

What you’ll do:

Duties including:

  • Engage project management and project accounting to improve project based cash forecasting to improve billing and collection processes
  • Develop lines of direct contact with project management and customers.
  • Leverage contract language around payment terms and dispute resolution provisions weekly to minimize aging receivables and underbilling.
  • Model weekly and monthly cash flows to project working capital requirements
  • Train and audit operational leaders in cash management techniques, billing and receivable management, and cash forecasting techniques at the project level.
  • Negotiate and execute debt agreements to support long-term financing strategy and ISDA agreements to manage commodity hedging portfolio
  • Manage debt financing requirements through line of credit borrowings and an investment policy as directed by Aldridge ownership
  • Perform routine subcontractor and project owner financial assessments.
  • Evaluate financial health, payment history, banking/bonding capacity, and referrals to develop recommendations on contract size and risk mitigation strategies for questionable partners.
  • Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements.

Who you are:

We are pursuing professionals with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent educational background, with a CPA preferred
  • Experience in building and maintaining complex financial models to evaluate financial covenants and metrics, cash forecasts, and trends.
  • Experience engaging financial lenders, negotiating debt agreements, executing commodity hedging, and managing interest rate risk
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience engaging and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience (functional and people management responsibilities).
  • Construction or Utility experience preferred, advanced Excel skills required.
  • Success working proactively and as a team player
