Your Day-to-Day as an Open-Air Kitchen Market Cook

As an Open-Air Kitchen Market Cook at Hook & Fork, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in our unique semi-outdoor waterfront kitchen on the scenic Hood Canal. We pride ourselves on using fresh, locally sourced seafood and ingredients, and our cooking methods focus on wood-fired grills and open-flame techniques.

• Prepare dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain high standards for food prep, presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Foster a team-oriented atmosphere through effective communication and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations.

! Please note ! This is a seasonal position anticipated to work 20-40 hours per week. While there may be opportunities to transition to a permanent full-time status at the end of the summer season, we cannot guarantee permanent placement at this time.

Qualifications

• 1 years' commercial cooking experience required
• Experience with wood-fired, open-flame, or other non-traditional cooking preferred
• Education in Culinary Arts is a plus
• Friday - Sunday availability, minimum
• Valid WA Food Worker Card (within 14 days after hire)
